Congratulations goes out to Caitlyn Cox for winning the Bryant Jordan Scholar Award from Area 6 in Class 5A. Caitlyn also claimed the Regional Award which affords her a trip to Birmingham on April 11th to represent not only CCHS but also the Area and the Region. Caitlyn is 1st in her Senior class with a 4.0 GPA and the winner of several local and national honors.
Congratulations also goes out to Damien Floyd for winning the Bryant Jordan Achievement Award from Area 6 in Class 5A. Damien will also represent CCHS at the banquet in Birmingham for winning the Area and the Region. Damien suffered an injury in a car accident the left him paralyzed from the waste down but has continued to strive to complete his high school education.
We are extremely proud of Caitlyn and Damien for their accomplishments and the example that they have set for hard work and perserverance. This is a 1st for CCHS to have Regional winners in both catagories. Go Tigers!!

ReplyDeleteCaitlyn's Father and I would like to thank all the faculty, staff and administration for encouraging our daughter to always do her best in all of her studies and activities at CCHS. It has always been her goal to achieve the highest level of accomplishment in high school. We are so proud of her for staying steady on course! Thank you God for the blessing of this child!
